Wessling (Germany) – OPEN MIND Technologies AG is now offering a 64-bit version of its CAM solution hyperMILL® for integration into the Autodesk® Inventor® and SolidWorks® CAD platforms. This enables the latest workstations to be used with 64-bit processor architecture from the design phase right through to CNC manufacturing.

2011 CAM software will be released with enhanced with new features and machining strategies, under the tagline ‘automated programming, time-saving machining’. hyperMILL® enables complex programming tasks to be implemented quickly and easily.

SolutionWare Corp has announced the release of “MazaCAM Smart Edition,” the newest version of SolutionWare’s MazaCAM CNC programming system. MazaCAM Smart Edition is the first and only CNC programming system to support the entire range of generations from Mazak’s first T1 model to the new Mazatrol SMART lathes and controls. MazaCAM Smart Edition also supports all standard G-code CNC controls. Shops can now have one system for programming all their CNCs instead of different methods and systems for each kind of machine.
